Congratulations Lewis!

At the end of June Lewis Eden (24) got approval to go forward for training to be a priest. He will start his theological studies in Durham after two years with us as part of our special community for young adults / St Peter’s Foundation. Well done Lewis! This has been a remarkable journey from very humble origins in housing estate in Aberdeen to being one of the few of his classmates to get a degree, to finally being with us. Frances and I first met him when he joined our new youth club and he 9 years old in that former parish in Aberdeen. We have watched his progress with great interest over these years. He will be missed by myself and parishioners as well employees of the Winking Prawn where he is a renowned hard grafter.
